A Love of Art…
And a Love of Family.

Tim developed a fondness for folk art upon moving to South Carolina in 2009. A self taught potter, he began by making functional wares like bowls and birdhouses in 2010 before quickly making a shift to face jug pottery. Many of his pieces draw inspiration from traditional American folk pottery with an emphasis on face jug pottery. He has attended shows and festivals across the southeast and ships pieces throughout the country. Tim also enjoys doing demonstrations and passing along the tradition whenever there is an opportunity. Tim has a B.S. from Auburn University and a M.A.R. from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary.

Julie has created art since she was a little girl. She graduated from Auburn University with a B.F.A in Graphic Design but also dove deep into pottery while there. Julie has owned Design Frenzy, Inc., a graphic design and promotional product company, for almost 20 years. She uses her creativity to help her clients market their businesses. Julie’s fine art was put aside while she grew both her company and her family. She has recently found a good balance and her love of painting has bloomed again. Her favorite paintings are when the paint is so thick that it jumps off of the palette.

Together Tim and Julie’s collaborative work started with their marriage in 2002. Studies and work have taken them back and forth from Alabama to South Carolina. Through all of life’s changes, a love of art has persisted. They have also been blessed with amazing kids - Mason, Molly, Pedro and Tinka.
